BCR TRACKER R051- M701774

BCR Tracker R051 is a Wind Time son that we raised.  He is out of a Fasttrack bred dam.  The Wind Time Maternal calving ease and the known calving ease of Baldridge Fasttrack makes Tracker a royally bred calving ease sire, yet his weaning weights are at the upper end of performance, with himself weaning at 990 pounds.  Tracker falls in the top 5% for calving ease, and the top 1% for maternal calving ease, couple all that with marbling and you have a calving ease, high performance sire that brings all of that to his offspring. Tracker is in the top 10% for marbling and percent choice using the igenity DNA evaluation.

PLEASANT DAWN REDZONE 852Z - QM200559

Pleasant Dawn Redzone 852Z is a purchased bull from Pleasant Dawn Charolais, Oak Lake, MB.  We have been intrigued with the Red Factor charolais genetics out of Canada for some time now.   Red charolais have been extensively used in Canada.    The push for red factor charolais is to have the tremendous feeder abilities of the charolais genetics but when used on Angus mother cows the calves that will be either red or black depending whether the Angus cow has a recessive red gene.  We are seeing more interest in the US for red Charolais.  Redzone has been tested and he is not only a Leptin T/T bull, but he is also dilutor gene free, which makes him homozygous Red.  Redzone’s genetic profile through Igenity is impressive.  We are sure that Redzone’s genetics will add excitement to our program and expand the red charolais interest in the US.
